Lower Pawn Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Pass Campground is a great local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Hunters Trail. Near Lower Pawn Lake you find wonderful places like Shady Pass, and don’t forget to explore Lake Creek Basin if you're here at Lower Pawn Lake. Lower Pawn Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; most of the snow falls during December, and July is the month                  with the least moisture. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Adventure Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious spot to camp here at Lower Pawn Lake is Big Hill Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lower Pawn Lake; Duncan Hill Trail is a fine local trail.
