If you're here, you might as well go to Shady Pass, and a lake close by is Pawn Lakes. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. There is a nice hiking trail close to Lower Pawn Lake called the Duncan Hill Trail, and while you're here at Lower Pawn Lake it's a magnificent idea to pop by Lake Creek Basin. Through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Lower       Pawn Lake. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Lower Pawn Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The Devils Backbone Trailbike Loop Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Lower Pawn Lake; Shady Pass Campground is a great campground nearby.
