This lake is so wonderful. A fine location to camp here at Lower Palisades Lake is White River Campground, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at White Pass. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There's whitewater on Chinook Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and       the Dalles Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. Having a nice time in the Northern Cascade Range is trouble-free. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hidden Lake is close to Lower Palisades Lake, and a cool spot to have a look at is The Palisades. For the period of the summertime here at Lower Palisades Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 40's; winter nights                  come with lows in the 30's to Lower Palisades Lake. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Bear Park is a great place to check out, and don't leave Lower Palisades Lake without first going for a hike along the Sun Top Trail. Lower Palisades Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Twentyeight Mile Creek Trail, and if you've had enough of Lower Palisades Lake, Upper Palisades Lake is close by. Lower Palisades Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most; July is when it's the driest.
