Yep, outdoors       amusing stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Lower Jug Lake. Arrow Creek flows through this vicinity. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lower Jug Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cascade Islands Campground II. There's so much to do here at Lower Jug Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cascade Island Campground I is a tremendous spot for that, and float down the rapids of Cascade River in a kayak. You just can't imagine the amount                  of outdoors cool things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Near Lower Jug Lake you come across the Meadow Mountain Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Illabot Creek, and the Hidden Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by. At Lower Jug Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lower Jug Lake temperatures sink to the 30's.
