This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Lower Florence Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Pine Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and a beautiful lake like Lake Mary is a great spot to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the County Line Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best       Western Icicle Inn is a great choice. All through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Lower Florence Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lower Florence Lake. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless! Don't leave Lower Florence Lake without first going for a hike along the                  Lake Michael Trail, and you can stay the night at French Creek Campground. Icicle Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a great nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. So much amusing stuff to do at Lower Florence Lake, so little time. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Upper Florence Lake in close proximity to Lower Florence Lake, and some nearby water includes Black Pine Creek. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Paddling on Nason River is so much fun; the vista of Cape Horn is picturesque. Lower Florence Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful.
