Do stop by Lower Florence Lake while you're in this part of Washington. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Lower Florence Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Pine Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and a beautiful lake like Lake Mary is a great spot to stop at. | | Western Icicle Inn is a great choice. All through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Lower Florence Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Lake, so little time. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Upper Florence Lake in close proximity to Lower Florence Lake, and some nearby water includes Black Pine Creek. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even
more entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Paddling on Nason River is so much fun; the vista of Cape Horn is picturesque. Lower Florence Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months
in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Icicle Trail, and Lower Florence Lake is close to Frosty Pass which is undeniably worth taking a look at.
