Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lovitt Tailings Pond; Devils Gulch Trail is a great local trail, and why not have a look at Lovitt Tailing Pond Dam since you're here. Lovitt Tailings Pond is a place with many visitors from Wenatchee, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Entiat River. High temperatures at Lovitt Tailings Pond       through the summer are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Lovitt Tailings Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
