     Washington has many beautiful lakes and Lovitt Tailings Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Cedars Inn; since you're here, you could also check out wonderful Greenwood Reservoir Number Two. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wenatchee Mountains. Whitewater paddling is nice on Wenatchee River; there's some flowing water nearby, Squilchuck Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Lovitt Tailings  
   Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is July.
If you came for an overnight stay Hill Crest Motel is a splendid site to camp, and an afternoon playing golf at Highlander Golf Club is always a bliss. The Red Hill Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Lovitt Tailings Pond; if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Wenatchee is a nice choice. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is abundant
 
               here in the Wenatchee Mountains. Beehive Spring Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the High Creek Trail.
For the period of the days of summer at Lovitt Tailings Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lovitt Tailings Pond. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Entiat River; the peak of Rooster Comb can be seen from Lovitt Tailings Pond. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Lovitt Tailings Pond has it all. Dry Gulch is next to Lovitt Tailings Pond and is a fine location; on a good day you can take a hike along the Devils Gulch Trail.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Wenatchee Mountains.
