    Louise Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Gotta ski! White Pass is a splendid place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Skate Creek, and the Tatoosh Range casts its shadow over Louise Lake. It's a great idea to have a look at Edith Creek, it's near Louise Lake, and while you're here at Louise Lake, checking  
   out The Bench is a must.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Louise Lake? Reflection Lakes is close by, and here at Louise Lake you can distinguish Boundary Peak. All through the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 70's at Louise Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Louise Lake. Life's too short to
 
               enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity to Louise Lake. You could also visit Lost Lake if you're here at Louise Lake; it's close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Cougar Rock Campground is a splendid place to camp.
What a place this is for outdoors folks. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Butter Creek, and the slopes of Crystal Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. There's nice hiking along the Moraine Trail, and everyone loves Paradise Park. That right there is a heap of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. A tour to Fairy Falls will fill your spirit with great feelings, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Louise Lake; Tatoosh Trail is a delightful local trail.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Cascade Range. A good place to stop by next to Louise Lake is Paradise Valley, and Longmire Campground is a splendid campground nearby. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Good hiking is available along the Skyline Trail, and if you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you must schedule some time for it if you're here.
Louise Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....
