You'll need more than a day to explore everything Louden Lake has to offer, you can camp at Long Swamp Campground, and Chewuch River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Around Louden Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you like skiing,       you're in luck; Loup Loup Ski Bowl is close to Louden Lake; Horseshoe Pass is a tremendous place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Clutch Trail, and Louden Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Iron Gate Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Louden Lake. While you're here at Louden Lake you can take a hike along the Windy                  Trail, and you'll find a pretty lake called Scheelite Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. A visit to Horsehoe Basin revives the spirit, and lakes are such calm sites, why not check out Smith Lake. Having a perfect time in the Northern Cascade Range is uncomplicated. Take a hike on the Long Draw Trail; you can make out Arnold Peak from Louden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Louden Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's.
