A picturesque lake like Kirk Lake in the neighborhood of Lost Lake is a good place to stop by, and you can run the rapids of Sauk River. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marien Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Squire       Creek. Lost Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do next to Lost Lake. Not far from Lost Lake you get some perfect water scenery at Three Rivers Mill Pond Dam, and going for a hike on the Gee Point Trail is always a great adventure. You'll                  need more than a day to explore everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cascade Kamloops Trout Farm and RV Park, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe. This lake is so wonderful. Buckeye Creek is a fine local stream; you'll hit upon a delightful lake called Three Rivers Mill Pond. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Near Lost Lake you locate the Finney Peak Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. High temperatures at Lost Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's.
