A pleasant place for whitewater paddling near Lost Lake is Vance Creek; if you've had enough of Lost Lake, Panhandle Lake is nearby. So much fun stuff to do at Lost Lake, so little time. Why not camp at Lake Nahwatzel Resort while you're here at Lost Lake, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Mud Lakes is just a very short distance away. This lake is located in the wonderful       Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at YMCA Camp Bishop; Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a perfect site to get some rest. During the summer months at Lost Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
