Panhandle Lake is a great lake close to Lost Lake, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skokomish River - South Fork. All the outdoors amusing things near Lost Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a place to stay Shelton Inn Motel is a perfect choice. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things       to do in the Olympic Mountains. Vance Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Lost Lake is a perfect place to camp, Lake Nahwatzel Resort is a perfect place. Lost Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. A pleasant tour to Lost Prairie is a great way to spend an afternoon, and camping at Lost Lake is glorious fun, Panhandle Lake 4-h Camp is a glorious local campground. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a glorious                  site to spend a night or two, and there are plenty of folks from Shelton here. Lost Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a large amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Lost Lake through the days of summer are in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's.
