    Long Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Lost Lake Campground is a good campground nearby; the peak of Chimney Peaks can be distinguished from Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
Long Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Cascade Range
 
   for a tremendous time. If you're here, you might as well pop by Louie Way Gap, and paddling on Tieton River is so much fun. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's glorious hiking along the Little Wildcat Trail, and Long Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, River Bend Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby.
All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back over and
 
               over. Soar down the rapids of Tieton River - South Fork in a kayak, and the Rattlesnake Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Golden Meadow is a glorious spot to stretch your legs a bit, and don't leave Long Lake without first going for a hike along the Grey Rock Trail. Skiing at White Pass is one of those things you just have to do, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Rimrock Lake.
Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Long Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Long Lake.
