All through the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Long Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Funk Mountain Trail, and the sight of scenic Short Mountain is great. A pretty       lake like Lattig Lake in the vicinity of Long Lake is a glorious spot to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Carl Precht Memorial RV Park is a great location for that. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Long Lake. If you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn & Suites is a great choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Long Lake has to offer, you can camp                  at Margie's RV Park. Good hiking is available along the Sarsapkin Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Peppertree Inn at Omak is a good place to spend a night or two. It is very dry here at Long Lake ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
