There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Maple Leaf Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Long Lake is near Silver Creek Pass which is definitely worth going to. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Butter Creek, and Long Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Naco West is a good place to camp nearby. So much amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range,

| | not enough time. Very wonderful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Crystal Mountain; there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Willame Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Willame Lake, and going for a hike on the Davis Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure. destination. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great globe it would be. Lakes? Sure, Johnson Lake is in close proximity, and you can go for a hike on the Purcell Mountain Trail. Lots of rain
falls at Long Lake; December is the month that gets the most snow while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Long Lake all through
the long summer days are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Lake temperatures sink to the 20's.
