Washington has many beautiful lakes and Long Lake is one of them. Go for a hike on the Willame Trail; close by Silver Creek Pass is a magnificent spot to go. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Naco West is always a great experience; why not head up to Crystal Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. High temperatures at Long Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. For the period of the

the Davis Mountain Trail. So many cool things in the Northern Cascade Range, just fantastic. This is a brilliant area for people who like lakes. Willame Lake is a lake in close proximity, and there's good hiking along the Purcell
Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Johnson Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Butter Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Skate Creek; if you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. Long Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.

Lake Christine
 | 11 miles away July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving.... |

White Pass
 | 28 miles away ...BR>What really makes it special though, is the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. It's what makes White Pass a ski and snowboard paradise. The White Pass experience starts with a bountiful snowfall (350'' in an average season) and with the highest base elevation on the crest of the Washington Cascades. The resort strikes a perfect balance between pulse quickening steeps, wide open cruisers and gentle learning areas with 33 percent of the terrain geared toward experts, 43 percent toward intermediates and 24 percent toward beginners. Nothing gets you to the top faster than the Great White Express, Washington's only Doppelmayr high-speed detachable quad. Great White can take you from the base to the summit in five minutes. White Pass is recognized as one of the greatest mountains to ride in the Northwest. Natural quarter-pipes, kickers, drops, cornices and chutes challenge even the most experienced boarder. It offers a half-pipe. It's got one of the most scenic and well-maintained cross-country areas in the Northwest. The 18 km of double track, which allows both classi... |
