There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Campground II is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Long Lake called the Ferry Lake Trail, and you can stay the night at Long Lake Campground

Going for a hike on the Tenmile Trail is always a nice adventure. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful.... |
