Camping at Sauvie Cove Store and RV Park is always a great experience, and you're probably into lakes, Canvasback Lake is one of those close by. Long Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December while July is regularly the driest month. If you want a delightful time       in the great outdoors, just come on down to Long Lake. A great location to check out near Long Lake is Bachelor Island Shoal, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Georges Peak Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oak Meadows Inn, and you must stop by Warrior Point when you're here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Woodland Inn And Suites is a fine place to spend a night or two, and unsurprisingly Gee Creek                  flows through this vicinity. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Long Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Kalama River offers some magnificent whitewater, and if you came to camp Violette's Villa is a wonderful spot to do that. Lyons Beach is right next door to Long Lake and is a beautiful beach to check out, and why not explore a swamp like Bachelor Island Slough while you're here at Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Long Lake is Tri-Mountain Golf Course, and Warrior Rock is a magnificent place to go to while in the neighborhood. All through the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at Long Lake; the overnight is a little cooler of course, usually in the 50's.
