    The beauty of Lone Tree Lake is reason enough to stop by. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. This is a magnificent vicinity for people who like lakes. Black Rock Pond is a lake close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Maple Leaf Campground is a fine place to camp. During the warm months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Lone Tree Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the  
   40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Lone Tree Lake.
If the weather is great here at Lone Tree Lake, you can go for a hike along the Davis Mountain Trail, and if you have the time, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth a visit. That right there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Nearby lakes? Sure, Tower Rock Beaver Ponds
 
               is near Lone Tree Lake, and Naco West is a tremendous campground nearby. Lone Tree Lake is a wet location that gets a lot of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is July.
Hiking along the Purcell Mountain Trail is good fun; some of the water nearby flows, like Camp Creek. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return home again. Going for a hike along the Pompey Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Cispus River. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Buckley; from Lone Tree Lake you obtain a brilliant view of Lone Tree Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Yellowjacket Creek for all you adrenaline kick people.

July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....

Hi, I have tried to climb this mountain, but the there are very little trail markers and the Columbian write ups on directions were not even close to actuality. I am trying to locate specific directions since there are several different forks. You have all these coordinates but if you don't have or use a GPS they are useless. Alas, you can't help me anymore than what's available out there, which is nothing really....
