Go to Lone Duck Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Olympic Mountains. Whitewater paddling is good on Hamma Hamma River, and don't forget to take a magnificent little tour to Dewatto River. This place, Lone Duck Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Summertide Resort is a splendid place to camp; you'll meet a lot of people from Shelton here. Throughout the warm days of summer at Lone Duck Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. the winter at Lone Duck Pond temperatures sink to the 30's. Lone Duck Pond is a wet spot that gets much rain; through December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
The Peat Bog is an out of the
ordinary swamp in close proximity to Lone Duck Pond; there are other spots here than Lone Duck Pond, for example Cady Lake. This location, the Olympic Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Not far from Lone Duck Pond, you'll
come across U Lake which is a beautiful lake, and a great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Shelton. This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail near Lone Duck Pond called the Mount Jupiter Trail.
Get drenched paddling on Jefferson Creek; a trip to Dewatto Bay is always a good idea.
