Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Whatcom Creek; why not take a little tour to Colony Creek while you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Bellingham, and a great beach nearby is Blue Heron Beach. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lizard Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Samish Terrace, and Mt.Baker has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. At Lizard Lake

Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lizard Lake are in the 30's. Lizard Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest. by close by Lily Lake. Lakes? Sure, Lake Samish is in the neighborhood, and folks from Bellingham love to come here. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Lizard Lake that you need to
camp here for a while, Lake Samish Terrace Park is a perfect place for that, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lake Padden Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Days Inn Bellingham is a nice choice, and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a splendid national park.
