And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Going for a hike along the Rugged Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you need a place to stay Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a pleasant choice. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Hoko River, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Lake Pleasant is one of those close by. Just can't       get enough of the Olympic Mountains. East Branch Herman Creek flows through this vicinity, and if you came to camp Sams Trailer and RV Park is a great place to do that. A short spree to Herman Falls is always worthwhile. Lakes are perfect; Beaver Lake is a lake that's near Lizard Lake. Through the months of summer highs here at Lizard Lake reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of                  the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lizard Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Camping at Olson's Resort is always a pleasant experience, and after a long day outdoors Kalaloch Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A great site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lizard Lake is Soleduck River, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Pass Trail.
