     If time allows, Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping at. Lakes? Sure, South Twin Lake is around here. If you're looking for a beach close to Little Twin Lakes, we recommend Carson Beach, and there are nice places to discover along the White Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Rocky Point Campground is a nice spot to camp; Bear Hide Gap is a great site to spend some time. Little Twin  
   Lakes is a location that is reasonably dehydrated mostly; the month with most of the snow is December, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
Hidden Beach Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. A quick tour to Dry Creek in close proximity to Little Twin Lakes is a glorious idea, and going for a hike on the Daisy Trail is always a tremendous adventure. All through the warm
 
               months at Little Twin Lakes highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Little Twin Lakes tend to be in the 10's.
Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Sherman Creek, and there are other spots here than Little Twin Lakes, for example Twin Lakes.

Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful....
