Little Slate Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Northern Cascade Range. The West Fork Methow Trail offers hiking at its best; Midnight Mountain is painless to spot from Little Slate Lake. A lake nearby is Abernathy Lake, and Methow River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Little       Slate Lake, too good to be true. Good hiking is available along the Driveway Butte Trail, and hey, Hubbard Creek is a tremendous local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Slate Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. There's so much to do here at Little Slate Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Poplar Flat Campground is a great place for that. At Little Slate Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the                  period of the winter highs are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Little Slate Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Lost River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Slate Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mystery Campground. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Northern Cascade Range. There's good hiking along the Monument Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lakeside Lodge & Suites.
