You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Places like Rocky Prairie are nice to have a look at, and the Keenan Meadows Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Little Mud Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range rules! Dry Creek is a great local stream, and close by you       find the Fishhook Flats Trail which is a great hiking trail. Little Mud Lake is a location that is quite dehydrated usually; through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is usually the driest month. Hanging Tree Campground is a splendid local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Stewart Lodge is a nice choice. If you desire a little side visit, try Garrett Canyon, and Rattlesnake Creek - Naches Tributary has a good whitewater                  paddling spot close by. But wait, there's more to do close to Little Mud Lake. People from Ellensburg love to come to Little Mud Lake, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Squaw Rock Resort and RV Park is a great campground nearby; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Naches River. The warmest time of the year at Little Mud Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows at Little Mud Lake throughout the winter typically dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
