Go to Little Mud Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Lots of people from Ellensburg come to Little Mud Lake, and going for a hike along the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Little Mud Lake is great fun, Hanging Tree Campground is a great local campground; if you need a spot to stay Cle Elum

| | Travelers Inn is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Garrett Canyon is near Little Mud Lake and is a perfect location; Squaw Rock Resort and RV Park is a great campground here. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Naches River is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Little Mud Lake; hiking along the Keenan Meadows Trail is good fun. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. | |

While you're here at Little Mud Lake you can take a hike along the Fishhook Flats Trail; Best Western Snowcap Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest. Around Little Mud Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of
the year is generally December, that's the one that snows the most; July meanwhile is the driest month. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Little Mud Lake. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater
paddling on Rattlesnake Creek - Naches Tributary, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dry Creek. You have to beyond doubt dedicate some time to Rocky Prairie since you're here at Little Mud Lake; you can see Eagle
Rock from Little Mud Lake. At Little Mud Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Little Mud Lake.
