Burnboot Creek is near Little       Hester Lake and is always a joy to visit, and the Pratt Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Little Hester Lake reach the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Little Hester Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Head up to Snoqualmie and strap some skis to your feet, and magnificent hiking is available along                  the Middle Fork Trail. So much exciting stuff to do at Little Hester Lake, so little time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Alpental. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Hester Lake has to offer, you can camp at Commonwealth Campground. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dingford Creek. There's so much to do here at Little Hester Lake that you need to camp here for a while, West Fork Campground is a tremendous spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling near Little Hester Lake is Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork, and while you're here, you could also check out lovely Hester Lake. Little Hester Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is mostly the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range.
