Camping is available at Panhandle       Lake 4-h Camp, and drift down the rapids of Vance Creek in a kayak. Little Hanks Lake in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. The high level of precipitation makes Little Hanks Lake a rather wet place; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Little Hanks Lake. For the duration of the moonlight                  hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows through the winter for Little Hanks Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
