When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Little Hanks Lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Little Hanks Lake. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Hanks Lake is one of those close by. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains, not enough time. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Skokomish River - South Fork, and Alderbrook Resort and Spa is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Little Hanks Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; through December this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
