Little Goose Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You clearly should adore the Northern Cascade Range. Little Goose Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year at Little Goose Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the

| | 30's, and overnight lows at Little Goose Lake through the winter usually drop into the 20's. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Lewis River - North Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hood River is a good spot to spend a night or two. Trail. There's so much to do here at Little Goose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Smoky Creek Campground is a fine spot for that. Little Goose Lake is not the only spot nearby, Lake Comcomly is a nearby lake, and
going for a hike along the Cougar Way will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Lewis River - North Fork; hiking along the Lusk Creek Trail is tremendous fun. So

 | 10 miles away Hi, I have tried to climb this mountain, but the there are very little trail markers and the Columbian write ups on directions were not even close to actuality. I am trying to locate specific directions since there are several different forks. You have all these coordinates but if you don't have or use a GPS they are useless. Alas, you can't help me anymore than what's available out there, which is nothing really.... |
