What a nice lake Lily Pond Lake is. Going for a hike on the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail is always a great adventure; after a long day outdoors Stewart Lodge is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There is a delightful hiking trail right next door to Lily Pond Lake called the Kaner Flat Trail; glide down the rapids of American River in a kayak. You can take a little trip to Milk Pond Dam if you're here at

But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Lily Pond Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Little Naches Campground is a pleasant local campground; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Snowcap Lodge. the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Lily Pond Lake plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Little Naches
River offers some splendid whitewater, and close by you stumble on the Quartz Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Lily Pond Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with much rain; the month with most of the snow is January,
and July meanwhile is the driest month. Having a pleasant time in the Northern Cascade Range is trouble-free. If you came to camp Halfway Flat Campground II is a good site to do that, and a lake close by is Milk Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
