Lily Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in close proximity to Lily Lake? Lake Samish is close by; Lake Samish Terrace Park is a great campground nearby. The yearly rain here at Lily Lake is about average; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. Mt.Baker is a nice local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Bellingham Travelodge is a tremendous place to spend a night or

| | two. You could also check out Lizard Lake while you're here at Lily Lake; it's nearby, and Lake Samish Terrace is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Padden Golf Course is a nice golf course close by. While you're here at Lily Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bellingham, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Whatcom Creek. High temperatures at Lily Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer night | |

lows drop down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Lily Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. If time allows, Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping
at, and while you're here, you could stop at Colony Creek. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Lily Lake has it all. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Skookum Creek, and if you need a site to stay Days Inn Bellingham is a glorious choice.
