This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Test Creek, and if you haven’t been to Mount Rainier National Park, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. Why not camp at Ipsut Creek Campground since you're here at Lily Lake; going for a hike on the Carbon Trail is always a brilliant adventure. That right there is lots of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Summit Lake is a brilliant
lake close to Lily Lake, and Cougar Rock Campground is a great local campground.
The warmest time of the year at Lily Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lily Lake descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on White River for all you thrill seekers, and

there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Summit Lake Trail. This place, Lily Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Lakes? Sure, Twin Lake is close by, and at Lily Lake you can make out Bearhead Mountain.
Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Buckley, and the Clearwater Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. After a long day outdoors Kings Valu Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clearwater River - White River Tributary.
The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lily Lake a wet spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month.

Lake Christine
15 miles away
July 19, 2008-- We hiked up to Mt. Beljica this date. I would not recommend it just yet because of the unusually heavy snowfall last winter, unless you're very familiar with the trail. The entire trail is still snow covered from Lake Christine on up to the top of Mt. Beljica. We lost the trail, and then found it again.... that was a bit unnerving....

Osborne Mtn. Trail is written up as being in Lewis County but is also listed under Pierce County so there is a discrepancy there....
