You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Olympic Mountains. Finley Peak can be seen from Lilly Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Canyon Creek Hoh Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Rain Forest Resort Village, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Quinault River. This lake is so wonderful. Lilly Lake       is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Gatton Creek Campground is a fine location to camp nearby, and don’t forget to go to Paradise Valley since you're here at Lilly Lake. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Olympic Mountains. A great nearby hotel is Lake Quinault Lodge, and there are great sites to explore along the Hoh River Trail. A great deal of precipitation falls at Lilly Lake; of all the months in a year November is the                  one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. The warmest time of the year at Lilly Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lilly Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. A trip to Paradise Valley is always fun; Round Lake is a fine lake nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Lilly Lake. You can run the rapids of Tshletshy River in the neighborhood of Lilly Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge.
