  There's so much to do here at Lightning Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rimrock Peninsula is a magnificent spot for that. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lightning Lake; Rattlesnake Trail is a delightful local trail. Stay the night at Willow Tree Trailhead, and pleasant hiking is available along the Little Wildcat Trail. Lightning Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. The Rimrock Reservoir to Windy Point Campground
    portion on Tieton River is a nearby class III+ whitewater section, 11.5 miles in length. This section of Tieton River is an enjoyable section for raft paddling.
