Lena Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Lena Lake is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. Whitewater paddling is good on Jefferson Creek, and Lena Lake Campground is a fine campground here. So much enjoyable stuff in the Olympic Mountains, just amazing. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lena Lake; Tubal Cain Mine Trail is a magnificent local trail.

| | meet someone from Shelton, and you can stay the night at Lena Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hamma Hamma River; after a long day outdoors Creekside Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. There's some flowing water nearby, Delta Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here; don't leave Lena Lake without first going for a hike along the Mount Jupiter Trail. Lena Lake gets very little precipitation;
December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Lena Lake throughout the summer are in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's; overnight lows in the 30's for Lena Lake.
