If you need a spot to stay Solar World Estates West is a glorious choice, and Mathews Lake is a delightful lake close by. Laupp Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that snows the most, and August is when it's the driest. Camping is available at Porcupine Bay Campground. Lakes? Sure, Little Falls Reservoir is around here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Two Rivers Recreational Vehicle

 | 42 miles away Interesting to see this area via google satelitte...in 1892 my paternal grandfather purchased 95.5 acres along the river at the China Bend area from the govt. It must have been repurchased by the Bureau of Reclamation when the Dam was being considered. Glad it's still beautiful.... |
