There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Larch Lakes called the Hunters Trail; the Duncan Hill Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Camping at Finner Creek Campground is always a splendid experience, and after a long day outdoors Adventure Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Larch Lakes. Take a side trip to Cow Creek, and Larch Lakes is not the only spot nearby, Myrtle Lake is a nearby       lake. Larch Lakes gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is July. So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Stehekin River; Pomas Pass is another wonderful place to check out nearby. Summertime highs at Larch Lakes regularly tend to be in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours                  it's ordinarily in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Larch Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Cow Creek Meadows are fun to visit, and float down the rapids of Entiat River in a kayak. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Looking for something near Larch Lakes? Ice Lakes is in the neighborhood, and if you came to camp Larch Lake Campground is a delightful spot to do that. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff.
