But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Horseshoe Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Raging River. Summer at Langlois Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's
overnight here at Langlois Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Langlois Creek, and not far from Langlois Lake you'll discover Janicke Slough which is a charming lake. So much amusing stuff to do here at Langlois Lake, too brilliant to be true. A good nearby hotel is Best Western Sky Valley

Inn, and if you need a location to stay Salish Lodge And Spa is a delightful choice.
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Tolt River, and camping is available at Snoqualmie River Campgrounds. Langlois Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Carnation Golf Course & Driving Range, and camping at Tolt River John Macdonald Park is always a brilliant experience.

Attempting to kayak this river is another way to die.... It is not navigable.  I've seen 2 people on this river (lived on it for 18 years now) one died and the other barely survived his buddies death........

Lake Alice
Hi, guys. I'm Ryan and I'm only 16 but me and my dad have been fishing lake Alice since I was about 7 its a nice quite lake to cast a line in sit back have a smoke and a brew... fishen there is like a lot of other places but they take the bate there's really no down time at that like the trout there aren't the greatest but when you get a hold over on the line it's a real lunker lol... All in all it's a great lake it has great scenery but we never have to worry about to many people going there... Lake Dorothy
This was a beautiful hike, coming out on a lake that was pristine and gorgeous. The only problem is, the hike is really long, steep, up hill, and was exhausting for me. I would consider this an upper intermediate hike....

Lake Fontal
WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals, always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot....

Boyle Lake
Didn't catch anything. Supposedly fish but, not even a bit....

Rattlesnake Lake
12 miles away
This is a great remote lake, with plenty of rainbow trout, beautiful scenery, peaceful....

Lake Sammamish
14 miles away
We go to Lake Sammamish every summer. We love boating. The view is spectacular with Mt Rainier and all the hillsides. The water is warm and the beach is huge! We have our company picnic there every year also. Great place to visit!...

Lake Kathleen
15 miles away
I live nearby, so my husband and I went to check out Lake Kathleen.  We didn't see any public parks or facilities and when we asked a resident who was out for a walk if there were any, she said ''no''...

Lake Beecher
17 miles away
1 PHOTO
Lake Beecher is surrounded on 3 sides by a wildlife reserve and a wooded flood plain. Several families of Beavers and Otters make their homes along the sides of the lake. Evidence of large fresh water muscles are often found on the aging docks of the 1920s & 1930s cottages that are along the lake. In the early morning & evening in the summertime, hot air balloons drift along the edge of the lake just above the treeline between the lake and the Snohomish River....

Larsen Lake
17 miles away
Going there soon...
