The beauty of Lancaster Lake is reason enough to stop by. The high level of rainfall makes Lancaster Lake a pretty wet place; through December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Oak Meadows Inn, and swamps like Wallace Slough next to Lancaster Lake make for great places to take a look at.

brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Woodland Shores RV Park is a brilliant local campground. All the outdoors amusing things in close proximity to Lancaster Lake will keep you coming back again and again. You could also
take a look at Mud Lake since you're here at Lancaster Lake; it's close by, and there are great places to discover along the Georges Peak Trail.
A delightful spot to camp here at Lancaster Lake is Columbia Riverfront RV Park, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Lyons Beach.
