If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Lamont Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. If you come at the right time of year, Lost River offers some great whitewater. If you came to camp South Creek Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and do have a look at Abernathy Lake, it's a lovely lake. All year is a brilliant time in the Northern Cascade Range if you have a thing about the outdoors.

close by you find the Monument Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lamont Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in
the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lamont Lake.
Lamont Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Lamont Lake called the West Fork Methow Trail,
and Abernathy Peak is a peak you can see from Lamont Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lamont Lake; December is the wettest month with most snow while July is frequently the driest month.
