There's so much to do here at Lamar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pierre Lake Campground is a brilliant spot for that. Summertime highs at Lamar Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lamar Lake descend into the 10's. A beautiful       lake like Buhrig Lake in the neighborhood of Lamar Lake is a good site to have a look at, and Fisher Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is recommended, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is Kettle River. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sherman Creek, and you'll find a pretty lake                  called Little Pierre Lake. Lamar Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. On a delightful day you get a vista of Hungry Hill from Lamar Lake, and Lamar Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Snag Cove Campground is a magnificent local campground.
