Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Lake William Symington. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Big Quilcene River, and after a long day outdoors Oxford Suites Silverdale is a good place to spend a night or two. There are some good whitewater spots on Dosewallips River, and if you're here       you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bremerton-Silverdale. Some close by water includes Gold Creek, and at William Symington Dam in close proximity to Lake William Symington there are some exciting things to see. Lakes? Sure, Sprague Pond is in close proximity. There's so much to do here at Lake William Symington that you need to camp here for a while, Dosewallips State Park Campground is a good spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the                  Deadfall Trail is magnificent fun, and a glorious close by hotel is Cimarron Motel Silverdale. If you want to hit the beach, Scenic Beach is nearby. Lake William Symington is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake William Symington has to offer, you can camp at Norseland Mobile Estates; Lake William Symington is right by the Mount Jupiter Trail. All through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Lake William Symington while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lake William Symington. This lake is so wonderful.
