if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Miami Beach. A quick trip to Gold Creek near Lake William Symington is a splendid idea; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake William Symington; Deadfall Trail is a magnificent
local trail. You truly must love Lake William Symington. Whitewater paddling is good on Dosewallips River, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine choice. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are in fact

It is a small natural lake with no dam. I don't think there is public camping at the Erland Point Mobile Home Park or CRISTA Camps & Conference grounds. There is a boat launch which is very small and to the point. :) There is also a park for employees of a certain company which I forget the name of now. This lake is very clean and refreshing.
