Lake Tapps gets a normal amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Lake Tapps. If you come at the right time of year, Carbon River offers some       glorious whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Seattle Auburn. This lake is so wonderful. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Puyallup River; as expected, all our national parks are great sites to have a look at and Mount Rainier National Park is no exception. Throughout the warm days of summer at Lake Tapps temperatures are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the                  wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Tapps temperatures plunge to the 30's. This is a wonderful region for people who like lakes. Hille Lake is a lake in close proximity, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue for sure. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Bowman Lake; you can stay the night at South Prairie Creek RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to visit Driftwood Point since you're here at Lake Tapps, and Lake Tapps is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Sierra-rainier is a nice site to camp nearby.
