So many amusing things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Boulder Creek is a great site to pop by, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Port Angeles. Paddling on Elwha River is so much fun; Days Inn Port Angeles is a magnificent site to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Mills, and during the night it cools down to       the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lake Mills plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Elwha River; you can go for a hike on the Long Ridge Trail. Stay the night at Altair Campgrounds, and going for a hike on the Lillian River Trail is always a great adventure. Do pay a visit to Olympic National Park since you're here at Lake Mills;                  if you're here why not stop at Rica Canyon. All year is a tremendous time in the Olympic Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. A lake close by is Lake Aldwell; the skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is brilliant. So many exciting things to do at Lake Mills, so little time. There's so much to do here at Lake Mills that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Valley Motel and RV Park is a splendid place for that. Lake Mills gets a good deal of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Just can't get enough of Lake Mills. Lake Mills is not the only spot close by, Happy Lake is a close by lake, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Upper Elwha Dam. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn Uptown is a great choice; nearby you find the Hurricane Hill Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
