In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Mills is one of them. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a magnificent time. Hiking along the Lillian River Trail is wonderful fun, and a splendid location for whitewater paddling is Elwha River. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Don't miss out on a journey to Olympic National Park if you're here at Lake Mills, and you can have a fine hiking

| | adventure along the Long Ridge Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Mills a wet spot; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July.
If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Lake Mills. Don't forget to take a perfect little visit to Boulder Creek, and do take a hike on the Hurricane Hill Trail. Stay the night at Altair Campgrounds. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

you need a place to stay Quality Inn Uptown is a brilliant choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Mills that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Valley Motel and RV Park is a good site for that. This lake is so wonderful.
Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is a good local ski area, and a splendid close by hotel is Days Inn Port Angeles. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Port Angeles come to Lake Mills, and you might also want to pay a visit to
Rica Canyon while you're here at Lake Mills.
Upper Elwha Dam has perfect water scenery and it's next to Lake Mills, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elwha River. All through the months
of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Lake Mills while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Mills dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights.
