Lake Cortez is a beautiful lake in the Wenatchee Mountains. Lake Cortez gets very little rain; throughout the month of December you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime at Lake Cortez arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime       for Lake Cortez tend to be in the 20's. Golf can be played at Highlander Golf Club; there are other sites here than Lake Cortez, for example Wood Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Wenatchee here at Lake Cortez; you can hit the slopes at Mission Ridge close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wenatchee Mountains. Hiking along the Devils Gulch Trail is good fun, and an interesting thing to check out near Lake Cortez                  is Three Lakes Reservoir Dam. Be careful coming to Lake Cortez, you might not ever wanna return home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Cortez has to offer, you can camp at Hill Crest Motel, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Wenatchee. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Cedars Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Meadow Lake is close at hand. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Wenatchee Mountains will keep you coming back time and again.
