In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Aldwell is one of them. Having a wonderful time in the Olympic Mountains is easy. People from Port Angeles love to come to Lake Aldwell; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge if you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Aldwell a relatively wet site; the wettest month of the year is generally December, that's the one that rains the most while July is usually

| | the driest month. Don't leave Lake Aldwell without first going for a hike along the Little River Trail, and camping is available at Altair Campgrounds.
Camping at Arney's Dam RV Park is always a great experience, and Pond Motel is a good place to get some rest. High temperatures at Lake Aldwell during the days of summer are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 40's while the | |

cold winter nights at Lake Aldwell are in the 30's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Olympic Mountains has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elwha River,
and dry warm beds await you at Fairmount Motel.
This lake is so wonderful. There are good spots to look at along the Hurricane Hill Trail, and not far from Lake Aldwell you obtain some perfect water scenery at Elwha Dam. This
place is peerless, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Lake Aldwell. Olympic National Park is a nice national park, and there's wonderful hiking along the Lillian River Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
