The Lagoon is a beautiful lake in the Olympic Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes The Lagoon a wet place; most of the rain falls all through December; the driest month is July. This place is unbeatable, just check out all the exciting things to do in the vicinity of The Lagoon. There's whitewater on Elwha River for all you thrill seekers, and a lake nearby is Port Angeles Reservoir. All through the days of summer highs here at The

Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at The Lagoon temperatures descend to the 30's. Hit the slopes at Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. not all you can do here in the Olympic Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Peabody Creek RV Park is a great place to camp; don't forget to take a perfect little tour to Tumwater Creek. Just can't get enough of the Olympic
Mountains. After a long day outdoors Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles is a wonderful location to spend a night or two; if you get bored of The Lagoon you could also pop by nearby Black Diamond Reservoir. If you haven’t been to Olympic
National Park, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Lake Creek Trail. Camping is available at Welcome Inn Trailer Court/rv, and you can take a little visit to
Black Diamond Reservoir Dam while you're here at The Lagoon. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Elwha River, and the Hurricane Hill Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby.
