The Lagoon is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles is a delightful choice; a splendid place to camp here at The Lagoon is Peabody Creek RV Park. The Lagoon gets a large amount of water; December is when you get the most rain here while July is usually the driest month. Man, is there lots of exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Olympic National Park is a good place close to The

| | Lagoon; hiking is a popular thing to do around The Lagoon; Hurricane Hill Trail is a delightful local trail.
Good hiking is available along the Lake Creek Trail, and if you've had enough of The Lagoon, Black Diamond Reservoir is close by. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elwha River; The Lagoon is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Welcome Inn Trailer Court/rv is a wonderful local campground. many amusing things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too perfect to be true. Why not stop at Black Diamond Reservoir Dam since you're here, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Elwha River.
This place, The Lagoon,
it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Go for a hike on the Little River Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge is rather near. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains.
During
the summer here at The Lagoon, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's while The Lagoon night low temperatures during the winter
are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Uptown, and if you're here, you could check out Tumwater Creek.
