    If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to The Lagoon. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Don't leave The Lagoon without first going for a hike along the Bear Mountain Trail, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop by Smith Lake. A delightful spot to camp here at The Lagoon is Sequim Bay Resort; there are swamps here too, Grays Marsh is close at hand. Yeah, come here  
   to The Lagoon for a good time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around The Lagoon; Tubal Cain Mine Trail is a great local trail; why not stop at nearby Bell Creek since you're here at The Lagoon.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Not far from The Lagoon you locate Kiapot Point, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Sequim is a nice choice. The Lagoon is located in the Olympic Mountains.
Summertime highs at The Lagoon commonly
 
               tend to be in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at The Lagoon dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dungeness River, and you'll discover a pretty lake called Cat Lake. Around The Lagoon you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well visit Gibson Spit, and why not camp at GilGal Oasis RV Park while you're here at The Lagoon. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Clink Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Plaza Sequim Inn.
