La Grande Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. La Grande Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Mineral Lake Resort is a nice local campground, and Alder Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. That right there is a lot of fun things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. La Grande Reservoir gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through November; July on the other hand is the driest. You can run the rapids of Mashel River in close proximity to La Grande Reservoir. There's so much to do here at La Grande Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Alder Lake Park is a pleasant place for that. That right there is | |

a lot already, but it carries on; La Grande Reservoir has it all. La Grande Dam is not far at all from La Grande Reservoir; a great spot for whitewater paddling is Nisqually River.
This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water
close by flows, like Little Nisqually River, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Park Plaza is a splendid choice. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to La Grande Reservoir, and the nighttime is a bit
chillier of course, typically in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for La Grande Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Puyallup (Tacoma Area), Wa is a pleasant site to get some rest.
