Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Quinault River; after a long day outdoors Lake Quinault Lodge is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. All the outdoors amusing things in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Going for a hike on the Hoh River Trail is always a nice adventure,       and a lovely lake like Reflection Lake is a fine site to have a look at. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Go for a hike on the Soleduck Trail, and a pleasant place to camp here at Kurtz Lake is Campbell Tree Grove Campground. The high level of precipitation makes Kurtz Lake a quite wet site; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. Kurtz Lake in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors                  paradise. Get soaked paddling on Quinault River - North Fork, and why not head up to Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge and strap some skis to your feet. Why not camp at Graves Creek Campground if you're here at Kurtz Lake; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Skyline Trail. Through the summertime months here at Kurtz Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's.
