You get a delightful vista of Three Peaks from Klone Lakes, and there are nice sites to explore along the Elwha River Trail. That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinault River, and going for a hike on the Skyline Trail is always a delightful adventure.
