Klone Lakes is located in the Olympic Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Olympic Mountains has to offer. There's so much to do here at Klone Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Graves Creek Campground is a fine place for that; do take a hike on the Skyline Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Klone Lakes a pretty wet spot; during the month of December you get       the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by close by Chikamin Creek if you're here at Klone Lakes, and Quinault River is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Summertime at Klone Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Klone Lakes tend to be in the                  30's. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Klone Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Wynoochee Falls Campground, and hiking along the Elwha River Trail is pleasant fun. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Klone Lakes will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a site to stay Lake Quinault Lodge is a wonderful choice.
