Dry warm beds await you at Lake Quinault Lodge. The high level of precipitation makes Klone Lakes a relatively wet location; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the summertime at Klone Lakes highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and all through summer nights       temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Klone Lakes are in the 30's. And if that's not enough there's loads more cool stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. You can run the rapids of Quinault River close to Klone Lakes; you can stay the night at Graves Creek Campground. Having a nice time at Klone Lakes is simple. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near Klone Lakes is Satsop River - West                  Fork, and don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Chikamin Creek. If you get bored of Klone Lakes, you could also stop at nearby Satsop Lakes, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Skyline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Three Peaks can be seen from Klone Lakes, and Discovery Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Klone Lakes is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Wynoochee Falls Campground is a good spot to camp nearby; do take a hike on the Elwha River Trail.
