Kitsap Lake is a lake worth visiting. Kitsap Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is generally the driest month. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a good choice, and a lake close by is Reservoir Number Three. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a delightful little visit to Chico Creek; float down the rapids of Big Quilcene River in a kayak. Kitsap Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Erland Point Mobile Home Park is a delightful local campground, and Bremerton Super 8 Motel is a glorious spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Dosewallips River offers some great whitewater.

to Kitsap Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Chico Bay is around here and always glorious to explore, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is McCormick Woods Golf Course. Kitsap Lake is not far at
all from Bremerton-Silverdale; Heins Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Kitsap Lake get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 40's; night lows at Kitsap Lake throughout the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 30's.
