It's always fun to stop by Kitsap Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kitsap Lake a wet site; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You can run the rapids of Big Quilcene River right next door to Kitsap Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bremerton Super 8 Motel is a perfect spot to spend a night or two.

Chico Bay is reasonably close to Kitsap Lake, and there's some flowing water nearby, Chico Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here. At Kitsap Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Kitsap Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime
are in the 30's. Just can't get enough of Kitsap Lake. A splendid place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Kitsap Lake is Dosewallips River; Kitsap Lake is a delightful location to camp, Erland Point Mobile Home Park is
a delightful location. Enjoy a round of golf at McCormick Woods Golf Course not far from Kitsap Lake, also Bremerton Reservoir Number Three Dam is worth stopping at if you're here.
