A delightful nearby hotel is Sun Mountain Lodge, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Granite Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kitling Lake a wet site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Through the long summer days at Kitling Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the       50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Kitling Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Kitling Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Shady Campground is always a perfect experience. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Silent Lakes is a nearby lake that you could have a look at,                  and don't leave Kitling Lake without first checking out Mesahchie Glacier. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Park Creek Trail, and close by Easy Pass is a great site to go. From Kitling Lake you obtain a wonderful sight of Kitling Peak, and you can run the rapids of Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. A lake nearby is Wing Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Kitling Lake; Mill Creek Trail is a brilliant local trail. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range.
