Lakes are pleasant; Lost Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Kirk Lake, and why not a little side journey to Buckeye Creek. Be careful coming to Kirk Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. On a magnificent day at Kirk Lake you can take a hike along the Finney Peak Trail, and Sauk River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. For the period of the summer months at Kirk Lake temperatures       are typically in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Kirk Lake throughout the wintertime typically dip into the 30's. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Darrington Water Works Dam is worth visiting while you're here. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always                  go to nearby Three Rivers Mill Pond; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Gee Point Trail. Kirk Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July. There's so much to do here at Kirk Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cascade Kamloops Trout Farm and RV Park is a magnificent place for that.
