The beauty of King Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the duration of the days of summer here at King Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to King Lake. A great place to camp here at King Lake is Lake Connor Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Stillaguamish River - South Fork. King

| | Lake is a rather wet place frequently with a good deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is generally the driest month. So much fun stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too magnificent to be true. Camping is available at Twin Cedar Mobile Park, and since you're here, you could also go to pretty Mud Lake. Lake. If you need a place to stay Hawthorn Inn And Suites Arlington Seattle North is a great choice, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Jordan Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Gee Point Trail,
and Lost Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. King Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range.

Evidence of large fresh water muscles are often found on the aging docks of the 1920s & 1930s cottages that are along the lake. In the early morning & evening in the summertime, hot air balloons drift along the edge of the lake just above the treeline between the lake and the Snohomish River.... |

Lake Fontal
 | 17 miles away WE USED TO FISH HUNT AND FOURWHEEL AT THE LAKE...We used to ride dirt bikes in the early 70's up to lake fontal, lotsa fun. I remember the cabins and little store that was up there when I was a kid in the 60's....I used to fish on Lake Fontal but now there isn't any fish.Warning: Lake Fontal Road is a dead end that does not lead to Lake Fontal. The lake is definitely not worth the trouble....We used to ride hores into lake fontal in the late 60's. There used to be a small resort there, complete with cabins, boat rentals,always a huge party opening weekend..(?) big foot sightings in the area...could of been the micro-dot.... |
